support our government client’s activities in the Colorado locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a System Administrator and West Deployment Team Lead, you will support and manage the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.

Lead the West Deployment team and provide project oversight and ensure governance rigor across all activities on the program.

  • Reach out to customers and project leaders in the course of work in order to identify and evaluate user requirements.
  • Facilitate professional and constant communication with overall users on the status of deployment problems that might arise and inform them about ways of resolving issues.
  • Supervise project deployment processes with team and customers for the successful execution of project.
  • Monitor queue to ensure that all necessary deployments are on time.
  • Identify, analyze, define, and coordinate user, customer and stakeholder needs and translates them into functional and system-level requirements.
  • Participate in the creation and review of materials to support project level gate reviews, and customer meetings/check-ins (i.e.: Power Point presentations, meeting agendas, meeting notes, schedules, checklists, etc.)
  • Coordinate deployment activities with engineering teams to ensure capacity is not exceeded
  • Capture and distribute notes from project meetings
  • Document and track project actions and requirements
  • Provide support to the development, review, and delivery of project deliverables
  • Configuration Management of project deliverables
  • Oversee various work tasks performed by technicians to ensure that customer demands are being
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task(s).
  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned task(s).
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Carryout research on how IT systems are used and suggest ways for systems improvement and efficiency.

Provides Technical Team Leadership and GDIT employee management.

  • Works with engineers to define technical requirements
  • Works with employees on annual review requirements
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with time reporting requirements
  • Ensure employees are in compliance with corporate training requirements

This position will require worldwide travel.

TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for this position. Candidate should meet the DoD 8570.01-M requirements IAT Level II such as the CompTIA Security+ certification.
