Job Description

Seeking a Senior Networking Solutions Architect to join our team.

Contract requires US Citizenship and candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance and DHS public trust.

Support the Priority Telecommunications Services contract by designing, testing and documenting next generation priority data services with telco carriers, public clouds, MSOs, CDNs, ISPs and technology providers.

Create and document priority data solutions and proofs of concept using Internet backbone, WAN, cloud, LAN, and all major access network technologies.  Employ cybersecurity, IAM and enterprise network best practices.

A minimum of 5 years of technologically–relevant experience in network acquisition, planning, design, implementation, and operations, preferably with a major carrier, enterprise or top-tier equipment vendor is required.

Experience in designing and deploying enterprise WAN, LAN and cloud systems is required.  Experience in writing and presenting strategic plans to C-suite is required.   

Experience in purchasing and deploying carrier grade WAN products is required.  Experience with software defined networking, particularly SD-WAN is desired.  BGP experience is a desired.  Experience with RIRs, MANRS, RPKI, route filtering, BGPsec and DNSSEC is a plus.

Experience with designing and deploying services with major public cloud(s) is required (Google or AWS preferred).

Experience with enterprise access technologies including Ethernet and fiber is required.  Experience with deploying commercial or enterprise Wi-Fi is required.  Experience with MSO cable systems is desired.  Experience with mobile app deployment and mobile device management is desired.  Experience with mobile carrier technology is a plus.

Experience with cybersecurity fundamentals and practices is required.  Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and audit is a plus.  Experience with IAM or Identity Providers is desired.

Software development is not required.  However, familiarity with enterprise development, DevOps and CI/CD, particularly to public clouds, is a plus.  Mobile app development and DevOps is also a plus.

Certifications in networking, cybersecurity and other technologies are a plus.
