CSRA State and Local Solutions LLC has an opening for the position of Software Developer (Ref# SD622AY).

Work Location: 327 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144.

Job Duties: Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software in the healthcare domain. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Document testing and maintenance of system corrections. Perform Java and database SQL code development in support of the client mission critical software application. Ensure client/program security requirements are met and/or exceeded. Establish and/or execute on application upgrade/maintenance plan. Participate in meetings with the client, management, and staff on application analysis results and solution recommendations and implementation. Participate in design sessions to understand the change requests, enhancements, and design needs. Design, document, and develop enhancements and change requests. Design and maintain database tables as per provided design standards and guidelines. Provide technical analysis and solutions to meet client needs. Devise creative and efficient technical solutions. Provide process improvement analysis. Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements. Perform defect triage analysis and defect root cause analysis. Involved in defect solution determination and defect remediation. Remain abreast of, and research, industry technical trends and new developments to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards. Utilize industry resources to stay abreast of new technology, new design methodologies, and determine ways to implement within the application stack. Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs using Java. Execute development integration test (DIT) environment test cases. Support system integration test (SIT) environment test case execution and test result analysis. Provide production support by resolving incidents and performing data corrections. Use of Java, J2EE, JSF, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, JDBC, Angular, Eclipse, JBoss, WebSphere, Rational Application Developer (RAD), ClearCase, Rational Team Concert (RTC), WSAD, RESTful Web Service, JUnit, ANT, JMS, Maven, DB2, and Windows.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Programmer Analyst or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with the healthcare domain, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, WebSphere, RESTful, Maven, and DB2. 40hrs/week.
