At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a ServiceNow Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues and provide exceptional customer service. In this role, a typical day will include:

Customer is seeking a motivated ServiceNow Developer capable of creating logical and functional software code within the ServiceNow platform. Successful candidate must have experience developing software solutions within ServiceNow and possess a basic understanding of object-orientated languages like (Javascript, Java, and Python)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement configuration/customization of the ServiceNow application and facilitate the rollout of new modules and configure Application UI and workflow
  • Familiar with creating and promoting update sets throughout SDLC
  • Perform unit testing and assist with quality assurance as needed.
  • Support the team in ServiceNow operations such as User/ Group administration, reporting, metrics, SLAs, etc.
  • Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow colleagues and stakeholders to develop solutions and execute changes
  • Support and enhance reporting solutions both within ServiceNow and through external reporting solutions to support the customer's requirements
  • Communicate with the customer in non-technical terms, understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions
  • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation (requirements/design/test/as-built application architecture) for internal and external customers
  • Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge within the team

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 15+ years experience DPOST
