Job Description

Seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team in Quantico, VA... Looking for an individual who can adapt to different group personalities and who can conform to meet customer requirements and provide constructive feedback. Looking for a skilled individual who can hit the ground running.

Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance

Must be able to pass a CI Poly.

A qualified candidate should have experience and knowledge in the following areas:
 - Java design patterns and architectural frameworks (Not required, but familiarization)
 - Demonstrated experience with JSE/JEE programming, including Java Platform Enterprise Edition 7
 - Producing and consuming web service technologies - SOAP/RESTful
 - Experience with writing and interpreting complex SQL queries using MS SQL Server databases

-Development environment is Windows 10 Enterprise. Development team follows a SCRUM Agile process using Jira and 2 week sprints.

Recommended Skills:

 - Version control and release tools such as Ant, Maven, Subversion and GIT
 - Experience using tools like JIRA, Continuous Integration Platforms (Bamboo) and Test Driven Development

     - Experience working in an Agile development environment
     - Participating in peer code reviews
     - Understanding of incorporating application framework/design patterns at an enterprise level
     - Must be able to produce quality code that adheres to coding standards

EDUCATION:

BS or equivalent + 8 yrs. related experience, or MS + 7 yrs. related experience.
