Job Description

Pipefitter needed for an industrial fabrication shop.   Reports directly to the Operations Manager and shall be responsible for production pipefitting, work with precision, a dedication to quality, an exceptional work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team. Maintain pipefitting certifications, quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and job supplies.

Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (steel, cuni, etc.).

  • Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
  • Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping.
  • Sil-brazes cuni pipe.
  • Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced welders.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

HS/GED, 1+ years experience
