Job Description

The Documentation Specialist/Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for maintenance of the software product’s System Requirement Specification, System Test Documentation, Help Files and miscellaneous internal documents as needed.  These artifacts are maintained in tandem with the software development life cycle.  Must be a driven, self-motivated individual.  A close working relationship with customers, internal team members and task leadership is necessary.  The related software product must be continuously tested and analyzed, based on ongoing software requirements which continually feed documentation and help file updates.   Responsible reviewing authority for team’s contract documentation deliverables.  The individual must be capable of efficiently and thoroughly assessing software features and have a strong aptitude for learning the business.  This person supplies subject matter expertise for the software product.  Additionally, customer support via phone or email pertaining to the software or business may be required.  It may be necessary to give occasional training sessions on the software product.  Proficiency with Robo Help is mandatory.  Ability to learn and use Microsoft Team Foundation Server for accessing software development work item documentation and maintaining managing help file releases will be expected.
