Job Description Summary:

Team GDIT is seeking Operations Specialists in support of the IBD-SS program’s Bistatic Surveillance System (BSS) in the SWA area of operations. The Operations Specialist will provide near real-time (NRT) exploitation and Phase I analysis of Ground Moving Target Indicators (GMTI) identifying threats to Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). Candidate shall have operational and tactical level intelligence experience in the fields of targeting, fusion, intelligence and geospatial systems and software. In addition, qualified candidates shall possess strong briefing skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinate analysts in the production of intelligence products and assessments, system maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as answering all technical questions regarding operation of the system. CONUS training in various locations will be required prior to deployment.

Primary Duties:

  • Provide near real-time exploitation and Phase I analysis of GMTI
  • Create and disseminate fused GMTI products
  • System operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting 
  • May travel via military/commercial conveyances to outlying areas
  • Interacts and professionally exhibits customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers
  • Works in extreme environment and must be able to withstand physical demands of seasonal hot or cold temperatures and willing to live and operate in an austere environment
  • Must be willing to support up to an 84-hour Extended Work Week
  • Possesses a US passport that will not expire for at least 2 or more years and must have at least 4 consecutive blank pages for country visas
  • Must be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in operational, maintenance, troubleshooting, Phase-I intelligence analysis and intelligence production, and multi-INT data fusion intelligence products
  • Experience in providing geospatial analysis of GMTI for NRT analysis and exploitation and Phase-I intelligence production
  • Military or civilian training in geospatial intelligence
  • Previous experience in a deployed environment providing geospatial intelligence in support of combat operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detail

Education Required:

  • Education and YOE will vary based on individual role.

Security Clearance:

•        Ability to attain a US Secret security clearance
