Job Description

The Full Stack Developer provides frontend and backend development support for the Portal team on the EPC contract. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in some of the following: J2EE or Node.JS with RESTful services for the backend, and HTML5 and JavaScript for the front end. The individual will work in an agile environment to support short sprints and rapid delivery of releases.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing RESTful services
  • Responsible for the development of web pages
  • Responsible for integrating web pages to RESTful APIs
  • Responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Participate in the full application lifecycle using Agile methodologies
  • Actively collaborate with the cross functional teams such as Requirements, Testing and Infrastructure Teams
  • Pro-actively participate in daily development activities, be able to estimate detail design and development efforts, and adhere to development timelines specified by the schedule
  • Utilize/promote best practices, including reusable code                                                  

Required Education and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack web developer
  • 2+ years of experience with Angular6 or higher
  • 4+ years of experience developing RESTful services, using NodeJS or J2EE
  • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript related utilities
  • 4+ years of experience developing in HTML5 or the equivalent and React
  • 2+ years of Unit Testing experience
  • 2+ years of DevOps (CI/CD) experience, including use of distributed version control systems such as GitLab/GitHub/BitBucket
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies, Scrum and Kanban

Desired Education and Experience

  • Health Care Industry or CMS experience
  • Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc.
  • Oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment

Conditions

  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
