Under the Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract, our 110-member team delivers the full breadth of IT services, including infrastructure engineering and operations, software development and maintenance, cyber security, enterprise architecture support, and document processing.

We have an immediate opening for a FileNet P8 DataCap Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting solutions using industry leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process Management (BPM) with IBM FileNet P8. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative ECM Developer with working knowledge in FileNet P8.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent with at least 5-7 years’ experience in a related field. Experienced ECM/BPM suite developer with a minimum of 4-5 years of FileNet P8 experience. Understanding of FileNet 4.1 is very crucial.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Study the current environment and deduce/understand requirements
  • Work with the app solution team to identify appropriate design of FileNet P8 5.0 solutions
  • Participates in business requirements gathering sessions (JAD) and technical review sessions
  • Responsible for administering, developing, testing, delivery, and support of P8 solution
  • Designs, develops and administers various FileNet-based workflows
  • Provides capture solutions for scanning and storage of critical documents
  • Configures, maintains and supports content, application engine and document management platforms
  • Proposes and assists in the implementation of new architectural solutions to Enterprise Architect
  • Documents design and architectural solutions
  • Proposes business process improvements for document retention and workflows
  • Troubleshoots production problems
  • Support the change process for the application(s) supported
  • Communicates technical issues to product and project managers

Technical expertise:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Solid knowledge of ECM and FileNet technologies including one or more of the following:
    • P8 Content Engine(CE)
    • P8 Content navigator
    • IBM Datacap
    • TaskMaster
    • RuleRunner
    • IBM Daeja ViewONE viewer
    • P8 Connectors for storage and Windows applications
    • FileNet Image Services (IS)
    • P8 Deployment Manager
    • FileNet Enterprise Manager (FEM)
    • understanding of the Document class, folder class hierarchy along with the security settings in FileNet P8
    • Help the application development team in writing custom .NET applications interacting with P8 CEWS framework
    • Experience with WASND
  • 5+ years systems development experience with ECM applications, specifically using DataCap, CEWS and Deja ViewOne
  • Security + certification

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in migrating FileNet ImageServices 4.1 applications to P8
  • Experience with AIX is highly desired
  • Experience in installing and configuring P8 environment is a huge plus
  • Experience using ECM Centera storage
  • Experience with IBM IER is a huge plus
  • Experience with working with P8 installed on Windows OS’
