Job Description

External Communications (EXCOM) Technician providing technical support at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center.  Performs equipment operational assessment, Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA), and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks for SERMC to US Navy ships.  Must have 6 years of fulltime, hands-on technical experience and 4 years of supervisory experience out of the last 10 years in the maintenance, installation, test, or repair of High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radio and Portable Radio Communication equipment.


AA/AS Degree or equivalent experience.

Must have active Secret security clearance.

Must have a working knowledge of US Navy Maintenance and Materiel Management (3M).

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
