We are seeking an Enterprise Execution Director in our Program Support Center.

You will use your experience and understanding of program delivery to develop, deploy, and evolve GDIT’s best practices.  Fostering best of breed approaches aligned with our corporate goals and that promote wickedly efficient program support.  The Program Support Center provides corporate surveillance on program execution, enterprise data management and standards/policy development and management, and to provide support services to the GDIT program management community to ensure GDIT delivers the highest possible service to our customers while maintaining fiscal and risk management responsibilities to the corporation.  In that context, this position reports to the PSC director and provides GDIT policy guidance, best practice leadership, and program performance support.  Under PSC’s business focused, cooperative engagement model a knowledgeable, proven, senior leader is required to capture, define, and resolve issues and opportunities in this space by building innovative solutions and coalitions to enable those solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of both Program Management and functional experience, demonstrating the ability to interface effectively, accurately assess issues and opportunities and resolve them with both program execution and GDIT support functions. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead GDIT’s Policy and Process supporting effective, efficient, and aligned Policy and Processes that enable GDIT to meet or exceed our business goals while delivering superior service to our clients.
  • Lead GDIT’s CMMI Credentials team, supporting current, delivering new, adapting to new standards (1.3 to 2.0 migration), in support of over $10B in current and future business support directly linked to credential requirements.  Synchronize CMMI support requirements with other program or GDIT level credentials and GDIT’s overall best industry approach to service delivery.
  • Provide process support to both our programs and GDIT functional organizations.  Enabling critical review and improvement of targeted activities through Kaizen events.  Reinforcing industry best practices with a repository of best practice information, targeted training, and assistance engagements. 
  • Lead Program reviews when requested to support the business in defining issues and opportunities within our ongoing engagements to define issues, opportunities, path forward, and foster linkages to GDIT level support or resources already engaged.
  • As a senior leader of the PSC support the PSC Director and your peers by managing PSC’s IT application portfolio forecasting and planning to monitor cost and drive alignment to our services while achieve year over years savings or cost avoidance.
  • Join all senior PSC resources as a GDIT subject matter expert providing input or review to GDIT proposal efforts. 
  • Support the continual improvement and integration of all PSC services and our indirect support for GDIT services across our functional organizations.  Participate in GDIT level planning and execution support of GDIT’s goals and objectives aligned with reinforced by our company’s values.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a leader / manager and 7 - 10 years of Information Technology and/or PMO experience
  • BA/BS in business, IT or equivalent practical experience
  • Prior experience in another business function (to include military or government service equivalent) and specific experience in plans and policy is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management
  • Very strong communication management; excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proven ability to build credibility and strong (internal and external) customer relationships as a trusted advisor who understands their business needs and can balance with organizational strategy
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
  • Demonstrated experience in IT-centric services, including infrastructure, software development, and/or data analytics projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies desired
  • Strong technical skills and demonstrated industry insight
  • Experience leading a team of service-oriented IT professionals in a complex environment
