Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as organizational change agent for adopting governance and new processes and procedures to improve the customer’s IT environment. Manage and provide expertise for support staff. Develop, update, formalize, and standardize the processes, procedures, and best practices for conducting day-to-day operation change, configuration, and release within the customer’s IT environment.

  • Maintain technical and administrative control of the functional and physical characteristics of technology assets and provide continuous visibility into the types and numbers of assets throughout the enterprise.
  • Receive and records Requests for Changes (RFCs).
  • Submitting RFCs to the customer for inclusion in the appropriate governance process for adjudication.
  • Assess the ramifications, costs, benefits, and risks of the planned changes.
  • Update the change/release plan.
  • Coordinate and control change implementation.
  • Monitor and report on the success of implementation.
  • Update the CM database.
  • Update relevant development plans and architectures.
  • Complete and review the RFCs (post-implementation review).
  • Develop, maintain, deliver, and execute a comprehensive approach and methods for training to support effective use and O&M of the Mission IT services.
  • Documenting and maintaining version control of training plans, training curricula, materials, and schedules.
  • Evaluating training performance and provide stakeholders with traceable metrics.
  • Define, document, maintain, and deliver SOPs and knowledge base modules that provide users with instructions that support and encourage “self-help” and “self-training.”

Required Experience / Certification:

  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in AWS, Azure or other Cloud Service provider

Desirable Experience / Certification:

  • Cloud Computing certification
  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps methods in support of continuous development, continuous integration environments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL Service Design process and procedures.
  • Experience working in the Agile Software Development and Testing framework.

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph
