Job Description

  • Terminate cables with the appropriate cabling utilization measurements and good cabling management skills to include testing/verifying cabling.
  • Install AV/VTC components, build racks, 2 and 3 bay credenzas to include connecting system equipment to proper networks.
  • Work from a ladder to pull cable across the ceiling, pulling cable through cable trays in the floor, and understand how to use various systems including, but not limited to, cable raceways, Panduit, cable ties, and cable tray systems.
  • Ensure a professional client/customer demeanor while on the job site.
  • Clean the work area, allowing it to be free of trash and debris each day of the installs.
  • Assist AV/VTC Programmer in troubleshooting equipment onsite.
  • Mount monitors on walls and mobile carts in designated spaces and conference rooms
  • Space and install ceiling microphones and speakers, table microphones, wall mounted sound bars and ceiling mounted projectors
  • AV system maintenance/repair including but not limited to cable termination, reading drawings, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and customer interaction.
  • Crestron DM/Extron/Cisco certified is a plus
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of time for installations
  • Assist with other duties as required
