Job Description

  • Help develop a geodatabase that allows processing and storage of Shapefiles / GeoJSON formats in accordance with OGC standards
  • Identify geodatabase options and architecture for implementation
  • Develop document management capability for letters, annual reports in concert with Shapefiles
  • Ensure database architecture with workflow process and orchestration
  • Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security
  • Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front-end users
  • Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
  • Ability to configure and test database in a Cloud environment

Experience with any of the following databases is highly desirable:

  • ESRI/ArcGIS
  • MySQL/ PostGres
  • HIVE

Requires bachelor's degree in related field and 0-2 years of database analyst experience.
