Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will serve as an integral member of the Group. The AA will arrange, coordinate and track travel documents for approximately 15 staff and 130 contract personnel - for an average of 50 TDYs per month. Day to day work is fairly transactional, however AA will be required to think outside of the box on occasion. AA will work within a team of approximately 10 staff/contractors and will be expected to communicate often to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the numerous steps of the travel process. AA will be expected to cross train with other team members to better understand the entire workflow of travel from start to finish and to provide backup during underlaps. AA will interact with customers daily in-person, via telephone and email. Strong verbal/written communication, organization and customer services skills are critical. AA will be required to drive GOV locally on a weekly basis for delivery/pickup of travel documents at HQS. Core hours are 0900 - 1500. None/minimal overtime will be required. The AA should have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Sponsor Identity Systems, Sponsor Travel Systems, Sponsor Support Platform is preferred, but not required as OJT will be provided, if necessary.
